Message from our friends from the RAD-AID International Nursing Program
Dear Colleagues,
I hope this email finds you doing well and enjoying the beginning of the summer season. RAD-AID continues to develop and grow globally with programs now in 23 countries and 58 national academic chapters in the United States. The RAD-AID nursing program is also continuing to expand with programs in progress in Guyana, Tanzania, and India as well as future domestic opportunities in Appalachia. We are also seeking nurse volunteers who have backgrounds and interests in radiation therapy and oncology for our programs in China and Kenya.
Please see attached a recent publication in the Journal of Radiology Nursing which provides a general overview of the nursing program as a reference.
Also, I encourage you to participate in RAD-AID’s annual conference which will be held on Saturday, November 4th in Washington DC at the Pan American Health Organization. CEU’s will be awarded and the registration fee is only $35. This is an incredible opportunity to learn more about our global programs, meet our management team and network with various multi-disciplinary colleagues from around the world. Early registration is recommended as the event will fill up!! Click here for more information.
My sincere gratitude for your interest and support to RAD-AID and for furthering the education and training of nurses globally!
Warm Regards,
Patricia
